Meet the Doctor

Dr. Robert “Bob” Manestar

I practiced Chiropractic and Acupuncture in my hometown of St.Louis, Missouri for 23 years before I moved to Tarpon Springs in 2000. Missouri uniquely has had 2 Chiropractic Colleges since 1935, “Logan” in St. Louis and ” Cleveland” in Kansas City, that provided exposure to Acupuncture unavailable in any U.S. professional education in the 1970’s. Four Missouri Chiropractors, my teachers, led the nation in Acupuncture investigation, publication, education and testing that was the sole source for other states and Florida for decades. This exposure to Acupuncture during my studies at “Logan”[1974-1976] and my later certification allow me to balance the human structure and electrical life force “CHI” to restore lost function and relieve pain in ways that still inspire me to seek out difficult cases.

My resume of gentile techniques is always growing as I adopt new technology and advancements that work. Specific adjusting of the spinal vertebra by hand, drop table, blocks and activator led me to add cutting edge “Impulse” technology that is very effective with no twisting or hard effort.

Acupuncture point stimulation with classic acu-pressure or needles led me to add Auricular (ear) points and modern, painless Microcurrent or laser with no needles. Using mechanical traction or manual decompression with focused heat, cold and vibration provides longer lasting results and rehabilitation. I personally provide all care at a low flat rate fee that is comparable to or less than most co-pays.
